This is common practice, and something that is expected of our therapists.
If you have any concerns about this, or our service, feel free to get in touch for a chat, or ask for our Health & Safety policy as we are happy to help in any way we can.
If you have any questions re the Covid-19 in general please have a look at the government website: Covid-19
If you have any of the symptoms described, please telephone Healthline (for free) on 0800 358 5453 or your doctor
immediately.
Please stay safe, and be kind to one another!
This policy below come into effect immediately, from May 2020, and will supersede the previous version of our Health & Safety policy.
The guidelines for how the therapists will conduct themselves at the workplaces, conferences and Events are outlines below.
- The therapists always take preventative measures to make sure our hygiene standards are followed.
- The therapist to wash their hands before they start work.
- Due the turnaround of clients with 15 or 20-minute sessions, the therapists are unable to wash their hands between each client, so hand sanitizers will be used extensively before and after each client.
- The massage chair will be given a total wipe down with anti-bacterial wipes between each client, as will all surfaces that the client has been in contact with.
- Disposable face covers will be used on the face cradle of the massage chair and disposed of after each client.
- Social distancing practices will be in place where needed, but this is something we expect the workplace to already have in place and the therapist will simply reinforce this.
- The therapist will adhere to cough and sneeze etiquette and cough/sneeze into elbow.
- If the therapist is showing any symptoms of sickness, they will not be allowed to enter the premises and will stay home. A replacement therapist will be sent in.
- A therapist can refuse to see a client of they show signs of sickness. We will assume that the workplace will screen their employees beforehand regardless.
- The clients will be covered to avoid touching their clothes
